See what prior conference attendees had to say:
I must say I truly enjoyed the 2019 A Whole You Conference. It was my first time at a conference that talked about mental health in relation to families, friends and work place. It was also interesting because religion and spirituality was also discussed. I gleaned an understanding of what mental health really was and how we as Africans, African Americans think and react when mental health is brought up. I learned that mental health is not restricted to seeing a therapist but also about taking control of the conversations that you allow to seep into you; Also the relationships that you choose to entertain also have an impact on one's mental well-being. I learned that it is okay to breakdown, it okay to let God have control and that it okay to talk to a trusted friend or a therapist if one needs to and not be judged. I loved the vendors that were present as well. I also learned quiet about about finances concerning our children and when to start having the finace conversations and teachings. It was all around a wonderful conference and would love to attend the next conference.
Thank you so much.
